My wife and I both learned to ski here as kids and we come back every year at least once. This is still The Best place to learn to ski. Super un-intimidating and an incredibly friendly staff.
Small ski resort that is very family friendly. Reasonably priced and decent lodging. Things to know is that there is almost nothing within a 20 minute drive with the cafeteria closed between 8pm and 9am, so bring snacks, breakfast bars, and drinks should you choose to spend the night. (No alcohol sold on the premises.) The ski mountain itself is small but decent for learning to ski.
I realize Ski Sawmill will never be ranked in Ski Magazines greatest ski destinations. This place is small and only has a few short slopes but we have a blast every time we go, and it's super cheap.
This is the best place to Ski....friendly staff and great snow. What more could you ask for.

Ski Sawmill is a really nice family ski area. The owners work very hard at grooming the slopes and it's a fun place.
If u have to ski western powder or your staying home....This place isn't for you!
My wife bought a gift card for my birthday for the 16-17 season and it worked out that we couldn’t go before the card expired so we tried to get a refund and they refused. Very disappointing experience. I feel they owe us 80$.
